CLIENT: Glossalon is a hair salon in the Chinatown district of Vancouver, Canada. They reached out to us looking for a minimalist wordmark and palm leaf inspired branding, to mirror the design aesthetics of the interior space, designed by CCSR Interior Design.
PROJECT: The concept we established for the wordmark design is that the side of the 'A' has been trimmed off and fallen down to reside underneath the 'S', just like hair falling to the floor. We used the underlined 'S' as their submark, to underscore the fact that the 'S' is the connector between the word 'gloss' and 'salon', which combine to form the name of the salon.
